It goes without saying that quality in relation to products and service provision towards the customer is a priority for operational management. This should be viewed as the most elementary principle that must be met by a business. There are, however, a number of issues that Heiploeg strongly takes stock of when achieving this goal. They are the values that the company considers to be of paramount importance. Product integrity is an important Heiploeg value. Issues such as the quantity of shrimp in a pack, declaring the ingredients, the correctness of the label and complying with the Commodities Act are involved. The integrity of the production process is also regarded as an important value. With this we mean those aspects as discussed in the Doing business responsibly section. But also the social aspects as an employer towards our personnel are important criteria in relation to management. In conclusion, we would like to mention the concept of sustainability in this section. We do not simply mean the sustainability of the business in Zoutkamp, but we also most definitely mean the sustainability of our natural resources from which we obtain our shrimp. Integrity and sustainability are values that Heiploeg uses to offer quality to its customers.
